Overall inventory remained strong in the Iowa housing market in June, with a 4.4% increase in homes for sale. New listings decreased by 9.2%, while sales dropped by 17%. Pending sales also decreased by 15.5%. Days on the market increased to 39 days, but the median sales price rose by 6.4% to $250,000. Townhouse and condo market saw a 7.2% increase in new listings, with a 28.3% jump in overall inventory. Closed sales decreased by 17.6%, and pending sales dropped by 6%. Median sales price for townhomes and condos increased by 2% to $249,990 in June.
